BATA 2Pitch4 Pitching Machine
The BATA 2Pitch4 baseball pitching machine can throw any two pitches any speed up to over 90 mph – IN ONE SET UP.
Each head of the BATA 2Pitch4 Baseball Pitching Machine has two wheels and two motors. This allows you to adjust the speeds to any setting with any spin. Each head is capable of throwing any pitch that a real pitcher can throw. The pitch combinations are many, from a straight fastball and split-finger change-up to a tailing fastball with a slider, or any combination that you can think of.
The heads tilt in semi-unison because most pitchers throw all of their pitches with the same arm angle. The range of head tilt is 35 degrees because most pitchers do not drop their arm more than that. The 35-degree tilt allows you to throw realistic pitches. Easy-to-use lock handles, lock the two heads to any angle that you chose.
On each head, there is one lock handle to control the height location adjustment, and one handle to control the inside/outside location adjustment. The variety of pitch combinations is virtually unlimited.
The BATA 2Pitch concept was developed first by BATA in 2000 with the original 2Pitch Baseball Machine. This design allows you to mix pitches to create a realistic batting situation for advanced hitters. The Sidewinder and 2Pitch3 were improvements on that first 2Pitch machine. The 2Pitch4 has even more to offer.
Batting off of a machine that throws the same one pitch over and over again compared to batting off of our 2Pitch4 machine (or 2Pitch3 or Twin Pitch) is like night and day. Anyone can turn up the speed on a machine and start his swing early enough to catch up. But, add the ability to change speeds and pitches, and you’ll have a batting practice experience that is as close to batting off of a real pitcher as you can get.
Unlike some machines that are computerized, the BATA 2Pitch machines are fully mechanical. This means that there are fewer moving parts, and there are no computers to figure out.
The Roll-Away Stand is designed to transport the 2Pitch4, although the Roll-Away Stand can be used with any BATA machine.
